New to blogging, but I’m going to try and upload a few photo’s of Bella’s post op journey. Some of the photo’s are a bit raw… Day 5 and she’s up and wagging her tail. Still panting a bunch when she is up and moving around. I just sent the wound photo to our vet this morning. Just want to be sure we are staying on top of everything we need to.

My husband and I only have fur babies...our dogs (and cats) are our children. We adopted Bella 7 years ago (she's 10) and she is my heart. She was horribly abused when she came into our lives and has the most gentle, loving personality. We lost our first rescue to stage 4 lymphoma 4 years ago, and this diagnosis of osteosarcoma with Bella is breaking my heart.

Thanks for sharing. Looks like Bella is doing well on her recovery. Hang in there will keep getting better, I’m on day 12 and can see how it will get easier and easier as we go along.
Look at that Bella, what a beauty! Don’t worry about the photos, we’re used to that here. Let us know what the vet says. I’m so glad you’re staying in close contact with them. GOOD JOB!!
She looks great, and the incision looks pretty normal to me (my Otis was also a black dog, so similar coloring).
BEAUTIFUL BELLA!!! Beautiful indeed! 🙂 🙂
Everything is looking good sweet Bella. Recovery doesn’t last furever and your sparkle will come back bigger and brighter than before!
And yeah, many dogs remain on some pain meds well into the third week, especially the larger ones.
Looking forward to more updates AND beautiful pictures!!
